AI Roker’s most recent health report and the procedure following months of serious health problems
For our favorite weatherman, Al Roker, things got difficult recently because of a number of health difficulties.
He was initially admitted to the hospital due to blood clots, but he had to go back there again to update his followers on his condition.
He was able to return to the Today show after receiving treatments for several weeks, but that didn’t last long because he had yet another health concern.
“Two things complicated things for me. I had internal bleeding going on and I had blood clots that they suspect developed after I underwent COVID in September,” Roker said. Then he continued, “I almost lost half my blood.”
In a conversation with his Today co-hosts, Roker disclosed that he had internal bleeding and needed surgery.
“I had one procedure, but got four for free.”
AI Rocker received a total knee replacement on Tuesday, and he is still recovering.
He released a video of himself and assured his followers that everything was great. In the video’s caption, it was written, “Up and walking this morning on the [new knee] [step by step].” Then, after thanking the medical staff, he stated that he was “wearing a negative pressure pump to help facilitate wound healing.”

Rocker’s wife, ABC News journalist Dorah Roberts, has stood by his side throughout his trials.
The weatherman wrote, “I’m thinking [Roberts] and I really GOT to stop meeting like this,” and she responded, “Yes. Also, we will.
Roberts included pictures of her spouse’s most recent hospital stay in a post on her husband. Wednesday enigma. Part 2 of my sweet Roker’s health journey, she posted on Instagram. “Such gratitude for [the] gifted medical staff who after such a significant challenge got him back on his feet with a new knee and new feeling of confidence.

Since their marriage in 1995, Roker and Roberts have had two kids.
She discussed the family’s impact on her husband’s health and opened up about it. “My whole family, after the crisis subsided, we almost collapsed,” she said. “We were unaware of the adrenaline high that came from chasing after him every day. It wasn’t until the fog started to lift and the dust began to settle that I realized how difficult it was. I then understood how challenging it was. That was my intention: to complete the task, heal him, and take care of him.
Even though he has recently faced challenges, Al Roker doesn’t want to slow down and is anxious to resume his show. What’s more is that he’s more passionate’ than ever about his work.
AI Rocker is back on his feet, which is great, and we wish him a quick recovery.
