When a sweet 6-year-old girl meets her baby sister for the first time, she is overjoyed
Six-year-old Adalynn’s greatest desire was to have a big sister. She never went a day without requesting a sibling from her parents. She wished for one so desperately that she even requested one for Christmas.
Her parents explained to her that babies can’t just be purchased at a store and require time to come.
Adalynn eventually got the information she had been waiting for one day. A sibling was on the way for her. She was, to put it mildly, over the moon, and the only thing that spoiled her joy was the fact that she still had to wait nine months.
Adalynn forced mum Erin and dad Dale to buy a ton of baby gear and clothing during the pregnancy. Following an ultrasound that revealed the baby’s gender, there was more wonderful news. Adalynn had prayed for a daughter, and she would get her wish.
Adalynn’s gender reveal celebration was specially planned by the family for her, and when she found out she was having a baby sister, she sobbed uncontrollably.
Adalynn’s high levels of anticipation were known by all, and everything was prepared for the big arrival, but nobody anticipated that the sisters’ first meeting would break thousands of hearts across the nation and beyond.
Sweet Adalynn woke up on the day Erin went into labour to discover her grandmother home alone, while her parents were nowhere to be seen. She then realized that her sister was actually entering her life.
We are really grateful that dad Dale recorded the first experience because it was quite beautiful. Adalynn’s first words after seeing the child were “I’m going to cry!” and she hugged her hands to her breast. Adalynn’s experience of love was so intense that she actually begin to cry happy tears. She kept staring at Madeline, or Maddy as her family calls her, who is her sister.
Maddy would undoubtedly be the happiest kid in the world to have an older sister like Adalynn, who is so loving and giving.
