Tiger Woods’ kid Charlie is 12 years old and looks a lot like his father.

Many celebrity marriages end in divorce. Whether it’s because most celebrities struggle with their celebrity or because their schedules are usually hectic and they don’t have enough time to be together, it’s no wonder that these relationships have ended. In reality, for most, it’s just a matter of time before they announce their separation.

Tiger Woods, one of the world’s most famous golfers, married the stunning Elin Nordegren. Both of them were introduced by Swedish professional golfer Jesper Parnevik and his wife, who employed Nordegren as their children’s nanny.

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have two children: daughter Sam Alexis Woods and son Charlie Axel Woods.

Their marriage appeared picture-perfect, but in 2009, the same year Charlie was born, the media discovered Wood’s adulterous activities, and the marriage ended.

They divorced in 2010, and Nordegren received $100,000 plus an additional $20,000 in monthly child support. She also received the Windermere, Florida, home.

While cheating on her, Nordegren only had kind things to say about her ex-husband. In a 2010 interview with People, she stated, “I wish him all the best in the future, as a person and an athlete. I am honored to have been a part of his golf career, even though I know he will be remembered as the greatest player to have ever lived.

The stunning Swedish woman never participated in any interviews while she and Woods were still married.

In 2010, she said, “My plan was to just stay the way I was.” “I believed that the only normalcy for my children was to stay secret. They had a very well-known father, so I could offer it to them. However, following all that transpired, everything that was published and conjectured about what I did or did not do—I felt the need to clarify a few points.

She went on, “I’m so embarrassed that I never suspected not one.” “With pregnancies, I spent a lot more time at home than with the kids and my school over the last three and a half years.”

For the benefit of their kids, Woods and Nordegren decided to maintain a civil marriage despite their differences as a pair.

Charlie Axel, their son, has a passion for golf from a young age. Well, he had the best athlete as an inspiration.

He finished second in the Kids Golf South Florida Tour in West Palm Beach, Florida, when he was only seven. Of course, Woods has always been a strong supporter of his son. What’s more, he even carries Charlie’s clubs around the course, according to Golf Digest.

They frequently play against each other.

“I’m still winning…for now. He is starting to get into it. “He’s learning how to play and asking me the right questions,” Woods told Golf Digest. “I’ve kept it competitive with his par, so it’s been a total blast to go out there and just be with him.” It reminds me so much of growing up with my father.

“I’m not sure if Charlie will be able to surpass some of my records.” Depending on how much he wants it. He is solely responsible. I knew at a very young age that I desired it. I was eager to participate in this game and compete. Whether he wants it or not, that’s his problem.

Naturally, Woods does not put pressure on Charlie to play golf simply because he is a player.

It’s merely a progression. They go from one thing to the next, just like any kids. For now, he enjoys playing golf. Who knows, though? It might change to something different. Woods told Golf Digest, “As long as he’s happy, he’s excited about whatever sport he’s in.”

Charlie is one of the lucky ones to have the world’s best golfer for a father, thus the two spent a lot of time practicing and competing in their backyard while in isolation. Many other children who enjoy playing golf were forced to quit playing and competing due to the epidemic.

Woods and Charlie had the opportunity to go to a tournament together in December 2020. They participated in the PNC Championship exhibition tournament held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, where several celebrities were paired with parents or kids. The winning pair of father and son faced up against PGA golfer Justin Thomas and his father.

“You’re so much better than your dad, it hurts,” Justin told Charlie.

Tiger Woods believes it is critical not to overexpose his son to the media, given that Charlie is clearly following in his father’s footsteps. In reality, Woods is doing everything he can to keep 12-year-old Charlie out of the spotlight, primarily because he is still too young to receive much attention.

“Trying to ensure that Charlie is in the correct environment. “He’s sheltered and away from all of this,” Woods told Gold Digest. “What I need to do is make sure I complete everything so he can practice, play, and enjoy the golf side of things. I’ll take care of it all.

“Many individuals are attempting to use him to build up, write, or discuss topics. Just making sure he can have joy playing golf.”

We are confident that Charlie will achieve his father’s level of fame in the near future, given his dedication to the game.
