Harry married Meghan Markle, according to the former butler of Princess Diana, “because she’s like Diana.”
Whether you like the Sussexes or not, there is no denying that they are a lovely couple.
Their relationship began on a blind date, and now that they are parents to two lovely children, they are living life to the fullest.
The two met through a common friend, according to the Netflix series, when Harry noticed her in a video that one of his friends had uploaded and couldn’t help but wonder who she was.
While Meghan was in London for the Wimbledon tennis tournament, the two decided to meet. Harry was supposed to meet Meghan at the Soho House in London as planned, but he arrived 30 minutes late.
In the series, Meghan remarked, “I couldn’t understand why he would be late.” “But he continued to text. ‘I’m in traffic,’ he said. I’m so sorry.’”
“I was panicking, I was freaking out,” Prince Harry added. “I was, like, sweatin’.”
Meghan Markle explained that because she didn’t know Harry, she wondered if he was usually late.
“I was like, ‘Oh, is this what he does?’ Got it. Like this, I’m not doing. I’m not going to sit.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Harry interfered.
In the series, Meghan remarked, “I couldn’t understand why he would be late.” “But he continued to text. ‘I’m in traffic,’ he said. I’m so sorry.’”
But as soon as Harry entered the eatery, Meghan realized it wasn’t a part of any strategy or plan.
“I was a hot, sweaty, red ball of mess,” Harry remembered.
Meghan said, “You were just really lovely. “You were genuinely late and embarrassed.”
Harry thought to himself after their first date, “This woman is great. She fulfils every requirement I have.
In order to honor his late mother, Harry proposed to Meghan with a three-stone engagement ring that he made himself. The diamonds on the sides are from Princess Diana’s personal collection, and the central stone is from Botswana, a country that Prince Harry holds dear to his heart.
The union of the couple occurred on May 19, 2018. At Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel, the service was held.

Despite all the controversy that preceded and followed Harry and Meghan’s decision to resign from their royal duties, they were able to maintain their composure. According to Paul Burrell, who served as Princess Diana’s butler, the Sussex family gets along so well because Meghan Markle is very similar to Harry’s mother.
In an interview with Closer, Burrell stated, “Harry chose Meghan and married her because she is similar to Diana. Both of them are strong women who never back down from a fight for what they stand for.
He noted that just because two people are similar doesn’t imply they would get along well if Diana were still living.
He remarked, “I think they might have fought.”
“I imagine it would have been a battle between Meghan’s way and Diana’s way—two strong, independent women with opposing views on things.”
One similarity between Meghan and Diana would be that both of them struggled under the strain of the British media.

According to Paul Burrell, who was quoted by Yahoo, “I think the main difference between them is that Meghan has a game plan, while Diana was young and naïve.”
Because she lacked a voice, Diana collaborated on the book with Andrew Morton and courted the media throughout the years. And because she had a strong mind, she felt that the country’s citizens had a right to know what had occurred behind closed doors.
