Prince George’s height in recent photos has royal enthusiasts in awe; he may go down in history as the tallest king.
This past weekend, the Royal Family went to St. George’s Chapel in Windsor for the first time since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral to attend the Easter service.
Many people were surprised by how different Prince George appeared from when he attended the Easter service the year before and even from when he attended the Platinum Jubilee celebration of his late great-grandmother.
For instance, he held his parents’ hands as they made their way to St. George’s Chapel the year before, and this year, he walked in private in front of his family.
Second-in-line to the throne George is maturing quickly and learning more and more about the life that lies ahead of him. While ensuring that he has a typical childhood, his parents are also preparing him for life as a prince and a future King.
George will play a key part on May 6, the day of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla’s coronation, but his siblings will only be present as guests due to their youth.
As one of seven children who will be holding King Charles and Queen Camilla’s robes as they walk through Westminster Abbey during the wedding, Prince George will serve as a page of honor.
According to The Mirror, the Pages of Honor will dress for the coronation in a scarlet frock coat with gold trim, a white waistcoat, hose, white gloves, black shoes, a lace cravat, and ruffles.
“Two Pages of Honor will accompany each monarch during the Coronation Service on May 6.” The Pages will participate in the procession through Westminster Abbey’s Nave, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay, and Master Ralph Tolle Mache will serve as the King’s Pages of Honor.
The son of former Lord Great Chamberlain David Cholmondeley, age 62, is Lord Oliver Cholmondeley. Finally, Ralph Tolle Mache, 12, is the son of Charles’s godson, Edward, and Nicholas Barclay is the grandson of Camilla’s friend Sarah Troughton.
The statement added, “Master Gus, Master Louis, Master Freddy Parker Bowles, and Master Arthur Elliot, Her Majesty’s great-nephew, will serve as the Queen Consort’s Pages of Honor.
George’s parents, William and Kate, are reportedly both delighted for George to have a part in his grandfather’s coronation and worried that the pressure would be too great for the baby prince at such a young age.
Tom Quinn, a royal expert and novelist, told the Express, “I’ve heard from my contacts that there is a bit of a debate going on about whether George should play a more formal role.” I’ve heard Kate and William are concerned that he won’t be able to handle it.
The young Prince will not be absent from significant events in the future. However, it is extremely clear that he seems different, both in appearance and behavior, compared to some of his recent public appearances.
He has grown so much, for starters, that many people think he will be the tallest monarch ever.
“George is so tall now! They’re all three. But, as one commenter remarked, “I can’t believe he’s going to be ten!!” according to the Mirror.
“Prince George has a tall, robust build, just like the Spencers did! Unquestionably reminiscent of Prince George! One more individual said, “Diana’s father and especially her brother.”
Another enthusiast said, “Prince George is going to be a tall man!” “Prince George is getting SO tall!!” a fourth person commented. His age is nine.
“At this Easter service there was a status step-up from George, who walked ahead to lead his family into the service, showing a newly grown-up dynamic from the five Wales’s when it comes to royal outing,” Judi James said in an interview with the Daily Mail.
George used to be the one walking in with his father and holding his hand, but this time Charlotte was walking in with William and Kate was holding Louis’s hand.
Although Charlotte turned to gaze at her younger brother with what appeared to be a modest checking gesture and then a gleam of satisfaction at his faultless behavior, the family pecking order even had its own upgrading. Charlotte was seen imitating her mother as they left the service, stepping next to Kate and giving a timid wave to the crowd to demonstrate where she gets her own ideas from.
Prince George’s confidence is readily apparent.
Kate grinned proudly as she regarded Louis, then turned to face the audience to share her praise for his mature behavior. As he entered the chapel, Louis even pretended to look down to adjust his tie,” James said.
George was the first member of their group to leave after the service and he shook hands with no encouragement.
Waiting eagerly for George to appear at the coronation. When he one day becomes a King, he will take part in a drama in which he himself will play the lead role.
