Royal experts caution that Camilla’s choice for her grandkids could “spark wrath.”

A very important event will occur on the grounds of Britain in less than two months. The country would witness a coronation when Charles was formally made King after more than 70 years.

But in addition to Charles, Camilla, who is married to Charles, will also receive a new, more important title: Queen Consort.

The long-awaited coronation is scheduled for May 6, which also happens to be the day Archie, Prince Harry and Meghan’s firstborn, was born.

Around 8,000 people attended the coronation of the late Queen Elizabeth in 1954, and 129 official nations were represented. According to rumors, King Charles is reportedly preparing to drastically lower that number at his coronation.

The coronation, code-named “Operation Golden Orb,” will be presided over by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and held at Westminster Abbey.

King Charles’ coronation, according to a statement about it, “will represent the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being anchored in longstanding traditions and pageantry,” which Britain hasn’t experienced since June 2, 1953, when Queen Elizabeth assumed the throne.

Also, the statement states that “The Coronation is a solemn religious event, along with an occasion for celebration and pomp.

“There will be additional opportunities for people to gather in honor of the momentous event throughout the Coronation Weekend. A spectacular Coronation Concert will be held and aired live at Windsor Castle on Sunday, May 7, 2023 by the BBC and BBC Studios. Thousands of pairs of tickets will be made available via a public ballot, according to Buckingham Palace. On the same day around the nation, The Coronation Big Lunch will be held, inviting neighbors and communities to enjoy food and entertainment.

Queen Mary’s Crown, which has 2,200 diamonds set inside it and was worn by Queen Mary and her husband, King George V, at their coronation in 1911, will be used to crown Camilla. A change would be made to the crown in order to honor the late Queen Elizabeth. Some claim that the Cullinan III, IV, and V diamonds, which belonged to the late Queen’s personal jewelry collection, will replace the tiara.

Prince George, Prince William’s eldest child, will undoubtedly play a prominent role during the coronation, but it appears that Camilla plans to give her own grandkids responsibilities as well. According to royal analysts, this decision may enrage many people.

Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes are Camilla’s 2 children. She also has five grandchildren: Eliza, Louis, and Gus, as well as Lola and Freddy, two of Tom’s children. She is known to all as “GaGa.”

According to the Daily Star, the Queen Consort requested that her grandkids hold the canopy over her head as she receives a holy oil anointing. And while doing so could seem nice, according to royal experts, Camilla would be straying too far from royal precedent if she made this choice.

“I can’t help but wonder, after reading Spare, if much of the frenzy surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan’s “will they/won’t they” coronation plans is a diversion from tales like deleting the name consort or include Camilla’s grandchildren… but not all of the King’s,” Schofield said to the Daily Star.

“The importance of the Royal Family is in their traditions,” she continued. Rites and customs that everyone wishes they had. Many people who feel that those activities undermine the mystique will be disappointed and angered when they go too far from those traditions.

Further, this expert adds that although Camilla’s popularity grew tremendously over the years, royals fans won’t be delighted to see her grandkids being given roles during the coronation. Schofield continued, “Camilla’s popularity may have grown, but it doesn’t mean there will be any interest in her grandkids.

“I believe that although people now tolerate Camilla, they probably don’t adore and respect her as much as they did Princess Diana or Queen Elizabeth. Camilla doesn’t seem to give a damn, either. She is totally content at where she is at in her life. She is content in her heart.

So far, Camilla’s children have remained out of the public eye, and it appears that they are content not to be a part of the inner royal circle. Of course, this might easily alter now that their mother is the Queen Consort.
