King Charles’ funeral preparations are being altered in light of cancer treatment. ‘It’s not good,’ reveals insider.
Following a treatment to treat an enlarged prostate, King Charles was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, the head monarch has received weekly treatments and shares his time between London and Sandrigham.
Buckingham Palace’s initial statement read: “During the King’s recent hospital operation for benign prostate enlargement, a separate source of worry was identified. Subsequent diagnostic tests revealed a kind of cancer.
“His Majesty has today begun a program of regular treatments, and doctors have urged him to postpone public-facing duties. During this time, His Majesty will continue to do State business and official paperwork as usual.”
A source told the Daily Mail that King Charles is “on good form,” but he is anticipated to take a lengthier leave from his royal duties.
His younger son, Prince Harry, who returned to Britain to see his father shortly after his sickness was revealed, is said to have offered to step in and play a role while his father takes cancer treatment. However, Buckingham Palace advisers reportedly stated that there was “zero percent chance” that Prince Harry would be permitted to work for the royal family during his father’s sickness.
The palace hasn’t said anything about Charles’ health, but a recent Daily Beast article that TMZ repeated stated that the King is not doing well.
The journal claims that although there have been a few occasions where his Royal Highness appeared to be in good health, the true nature of his ailment remains unknown.
According to the magazine, the King’s advisors are regularly changing his funeral preparations. There is also a code name for these plans: ‘Operation Menai Bridge.’
“Of course, he’s determined to win, and they’re throwing everything at it. Everyone is optimistic, but he is actually quite ill. According to TMZ, a source claims that they know more than they are revealing.
Given his age and health, it’s understandable that funeral plans are being considered.
Following the Queen’s passing, “Operation Menai Bridge” is anticipated to proceed similarly to “Operation London Bridge.” William, Prince of Wales, who is next in line for the throne, and his wife Kate Middleton, who is anticipated to become Queen Consort, would both ascend to the throne as soon as this procedure begins.
The new king would address the nation, replicating Charles’ speech on September 9, and there would be a period of national mourning before to the funeral.
The prime minister, like the Queen, would receive notification via the King’s private secretary, as well as the King’s Privy Council Office.
Permanent secretaries of government departments will be given a script to use when informing ministers about the news. At the same moment, the cabinet secretary would send an email to top government staff, and flags across Whitehall would be lowered to half-mast.
“I can see Charles desperately wanting to see the children, and extending this olive branch to Meghan and Harry,” a royal insider told Page Six. “He may conclude that life is simply too short. Balmoral is certainly the ideal, relaxing location for a reunion. If he does extend an invitation, Harry and Meghan will almost certainly accept it.”
We hope he gets to spend more time with his grandchildren.
