Mark Harmon discloses his actual feelings for Jamie Lee Curtis, with whom he has a long history.
Hollywood romances are nothing out of the norm, but to the surprise of millions of fans, co-star friendships aren’t either. We’ve seen actors and actresses take their fun on set and apply it to their personal lives. Consider the cast of the classic TV show Friends.
Mike Harmon and Jamie Lee Curtis have another genuine friendship between Hollywood celebs.
They have never been romantically involved or felt anything other than fondness and friendship for one another, according to both of them.
In reality, both have been married to their significant others for a long time.
When asked about his long and successful marriage, Harmon responds there isn’t one. He must have kissed a lot of frogs to get to where he is now. However, he believes their age at the time they decided to marry played a role. “We were both in our 30s when we married, so hopefully we did stupid things earlier.” “That’s probably the closest I’ve come to figuring out what the key is,” he told People.
Both were already well-known actors at the time. Harmon rose to prominence after appearing in 240 Robert, Flamingo Road, The Love Boat, and the drama St. Elsewhere. Dawber, on the other hand, rose to prominence with the television series Mork & Mindy, in which she co-starred with the late Robin Williams. “It was obvious. According to an article she wrote for Oprah.com, Curtis first noticed Christopher, best known for his role in Spinal Tap, while paging through a Rolling Stone magazine. “I looked to the man on the right, who was dressed in a plaid shirt and smirked. I hadn’t noticed him before, but I pointed to him. “I told my friend, ‘I’m going to marry that man.'”
The two exchanged phone numbers through their agents, but he never called, and she moved on with another man.
But then she happened to run into him at a restaurant. “I looked up and found myself staring at Chris, who was sitting three tables away. He gave me a wave as if to say, ‘I’m the guy you called.’ ‘I’m the woman who called you,’ I said. He stood up to depart a few minutes later. Harmon enjoyed working with her once more.
“She’s terrific,” Harmon once commented of Curtis’ NCIS debut. “I’ve known Jamie for quite some time. She’s a joy to work with. The rest of the ensemble adores her, and Gary Glasberg has given her a role that compelled her to come and play in the first place, which is unusual. But she’s had a terrific time there, and I’m sure she’d tell you so.
“Jamie’s great, and I think we’re all glad she’s coming to play with us in our little sandbox for a while,” Harmon said of Curtis on another occasion. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Curtis, for one, felt the same way about her friend. She was looking forward to working with him as well.
“I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that it’s a nasty, difficult job to ‘play’ with him. Curtis told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m thrilled to have it.”
“He makes me blush a little bit,” she continued. “Because he’s such a nice guy…” I like him a lot, and he likes me a lot.”
Curtis recently stated to her fans that she intends to develop a sequel to Freaky Friday, but whether or not Harmon will play a role in it is unknown.
