Mark Harmon discloses his actual feelings for Jamie Lee Curtis, with whom he has a long history.
Hollywood romances are nothing out of the norm, but to the surprise of millions of fans, co-star friendships aren’t either. We’ve seen actors and actresses take their fun on set and apply it to their personal lives. Consider the cast of the classic TV show Friends.
Mike Harmon and Jamie Lee Curtis have another genuine friendship between Hollywood celebs.
They have never been romantically involved or felt anything other than fondness and friendship for one another, according to both of them.
In reality, both have been married to their significant others for a long time.
When asked about his long and successful marriage, Harmon responds there isn’t one. He must have kissed a lot of frogs to get to where he is now. However, he believes their age at the time they decided to marry played a role. “We were both in our 30s when we married, so hopefully we did stupid things earlier.” “That’s probably the closest I’ve come to figuring out what the key is,” he told People.
Harmon and Dawber met at a mutual friend’s party. They married in 1987 at the Harvard-Westlake School chapel in Studio City, California, in a small wedding ceremony attended by only a few of their closest friends and family.
Sean Harmon and Ty Christian Harmon are Harmon and Dawber’s two sons.
Dawber opted to slow down and put her profession on hold when they were born. She appeared in a few shows, but not as a regular, because she preferred to spend more time with her family. In fact, she believes that if two people are fully immersed in acting, their relationship is unlikely to endure due to the time and dedication required by the industry.
Harmon and Dawber both agree to keep their personal lives confidential.
“There isn’t even a choice. “It’s just who we are,” Mark explained years later. “We stay at home.” A lot. I’m not a fan of Twitter or Facebook. Our sons aren’t interested either. Pam and I have both made a life in this industry, and there’s still a part of it that’s simply not natural.”
Jamie Lee Curtis likewise keeps her personal life private. She married Christopher Guest in 1984, and the couple is still together today. They have two adopted children.
The two exchanged phone numbers through their agents, but he never called, and she moved on with another man.
But then she happened to run into him at a restaurant. “I looked up and found myself staring at Chris, who was sitting three tables away. He gave me a wave as if to say, ‘I’m the guy you called.’ ‘I’m the woman who called you,’ I said. He stood up to depart a few minutes later. He shrugged his shoulders and raised his hand, as if to say, ‘I’ll see you later.'”

“Mark Harmon was intriguing because when Annette Bening was attached, Tom Selleck was attached to play that part.” He was quite honest with me. Curtis has received numerous honors, including 2 Golden Globe Awards, a British Academy Film Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Curtis first featured on NCIS as Dr. Samantha Ryan in season nine, when Harmon joined the show.
Harmon enjoyed working with her once more.
“She’s terrific,” Harmon once commented of Curtis’ NCIS debut. “I’ve known Jamie for quite some time. She’s a joy to work with. The rest of the ensemble adores her, and Gary Glasberg has given her a role that compelled her to come and play in the first place, which is unusual. But she’s had a terrific time there, and I’m sure she’d tell you so.
“She’s a gift to have on the set,” Mark Harmon remarked. “And such a rare talent, as well as a good person who is fantastically good at what she does.” So far, we’ve had a good time with her.”
“Jamie’s great, and I think we’re all glad she’s coming to play with us in our little sandbox for a while,” Harmon said of Curtis on another occasion. I’m really looking forward to it.”
“She’s a gift to have on set,” Harmon stated in another interview the following year. “Gary Glasberg has created a role for her that enticed her to come and play in the first place, which is unusual.” But she’s had a terrific time there, and I’m sure she’d tell you.”
Curtis, for one, felt the same way about her friend. She was looking forward to working with him as well.
“I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that it’s a nasty, difficult job to ‘play’ with him. Curtis told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m thrilled to have it.”
“He makes me blush a little bit,” she continued. “Because he’s such a nice guy…” I like him a lot, and he likes me a lot.”
Curtis recently stated to her fans that she intends to develop a sequel to Freaky Friday, but whether or not Harmon will play a role in it is unknown.
