Bad news about Chase Chrisley
Chase Chrisley’s life has had many ups and downs during the past year. First, after dating Emmy Medders for three years, the reality TV star from “Chrisley Knows Best” proposed to her in October.
After he proposed there at Nashville’s First Horizon Baseball Stadium, they spoke about getting married in Charleston, South Carolina.
Chase Chrisley’s parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, began serving their prison sentences in January 2023, three months after a federal jury in Atlanta, Georgia, convicted them guilty of fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. Todd is doing a 12-year sentence and Julie is serving a seven-year sentence.
We realize that organizing a wedding when your parents are in jail would be difficult, but the wedding has been abruptly postponed. The nine-month engagement between Chase and Emmy is over, the couple said in a statement.
“Everyone has been asking a lot of questions regarding Emmy and myself,” Chase wrote in his Instagram story. We both made the decision to live independent lives and go our separate ways. Thank you for being considerate of our privacy.
The ex-couple seems to have made an attempt to delete one another from their respective Instagram profiles. Their engagement announcement posts and all photos of the two of them together have been deleted.
According to Chase’s agent, Adam Ambrose, the pair split up because they both realized that things weren’t working out and that they should move on. There is yet more information to come.
Savannah Chrisley, Chase’s sister, looks for her younger brother Grayson and her cousin Chloe while her parents are incarcerated.
Do you find the divorce between Chase and Emmy shocking? Do you think Todd and Julie’s sentences have anything to do with it?
