We regret to report the death of Angus Cloud, a remarkable actor best known for his role as Fez in the critically acclaimed HBO series “Euphoria.” In July, Angus died unexpectedly at the age of 25.
According to the Alameda County Coroner’s Office, his death resulted from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and other substances.
Angus’ family has confessed that he was greatly affected by his father’s recent death, therefore their sadness is profound.
Angus’ love and loyalty to his family are clear in his flight to attend his father’s burial, which he had taken just one week before to the inadvertent overdose.
With his portrayal of Fezco in “Euphoria,” Angus Cloud displayed his exceptional talent and won over fans of the 2019-2022 television series. His other acting credits include notable appearances in films such as “North Hollywood,” “The Line,” and “The Perfect Woman.” Angus has three film projects in the works: “Your Lucky Day,” “Freaky Tales,” and an untitled “Monster Thriller” for Universal Studios. It aches his heart that he will never see those efforts come to reality despite all of his hard work.
Angus’ family believes that his premature demise was mostly due to mental health difficulties. He was exhausted from dealing with his father’s recent death. His family disclosed that he had been dealing with suicidal thoughts, highlighting the need of being open about mental health issues and seeking help from loved ones.
Angus died at his family’s Oakland, California, home. Tragically, it was too late when his mother called 911, assuming he had overdosed on narcotics. Authorities verified his tragic death after answering the phone.
Angus’ family shared a heartfelt message with TMZ, expressing their sorrow and describing him as an outstanding man. They talked about Angus and his father’s connection, and how, despite their tremendous sadness, there is some solace in their reunion in the hereafter. It is worth noting that Angus has openly shared his mental health issues in an effort to encourage others to get assistance rather than suffer in silence.
