Her “miracle” father Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman recently celebrated their 17th anniversary of a happy marriage.

The Oscar-winning actor and the Mission: Impossible star first connected on the set of Days of Thunder when Cruise was still married to Mimi Rogers, an actress he divorced in 1990.

In the same year, Kidman and Cruise, a Hollywood power couple, got hitched. She acknowledges that the action star’s passion for Kidman, who was 23 at the time of their wedding, completely overwhelmed her.

Off-screen, the seemingly content couple was also attempting to start a family. After two unsuccessful pregnancies with Cruise, Kidman declared that she preferred having kids to having a successful acting career.

Kidman commented on their early relationship: “We were very, very quiet about it and we managed to get through a long period of time without people knowing about us-which is pretty much our style still.”
The stunning couple announced their engagement during the 2006 Grammy Awards, and they wed the following June. The Kiwi-Australian country musician entered the Betty Ford Clinic for a 90-day term four months after their wedding.
