Chuck Norris celebrates his mother’s 102nd birthday. To lift her three sons out of poverty, she worked nights.

Chuck Norris, a martial artist, has become incredibly well-known throughout time. Even stronger than that, he earned the admiration of millions of people worldwide.

He is the creator of Chun Kuk Do, an American mixed martial arts style based on Traditional Taekwondo schools like Tang Soo Do/Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo, and he holds black belts in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and judo.

Along with playing a significant role in Hollywood, he is a devoted husband and father of five children. He has been married to former model Gena O’Kelley for almost 22 years. We adore Norris because he never misses an opportunity to tell Gena and the rest of us—how much she means to him.

The actor recently posted a photo of the couple on their wedding day along with the caption, “22 years ago, Gena and I tied the knot, making me the luckiest man in the world. Happy Anniversary to you, my lovely wife! There aren’t enough words to express how much I adore and value you. I appreciate you letting me into your life. I thank God that we are together every day.

O’Kelley isn’t the only significant woman in Norris’ life, either. The 81-year-old actor is fortunate to still be supported by his mother.

Wilma Norris Knight, who recently turned 102, has always been a pillar of strength for her oldest son. She was there for Norris through thick and thin, and he will always be appreciative of that.

“Mom, I don’t know what’s more difficult to believe: that you are 102 years old or that you have a son who is 83 years old,” Chuck, who turned 83 in March, says in a letter to his mother, Wilma. Whatever the case, I’m very happy you’re my mother. I have always been. We have endured a lot in this life, but we are still going strong.

When Wilma turned 100, her well-known son praised her, saying, “Mom has been a model of endurance and faith her entire life. Along with losing her two husbands, a stepson, two grandkids, and my younger brother Wieland in the Vietnam War, she has also had to deal with these losses. She has experienced multiple bouts with cancer and has had about 30 operations for various problems, yet she is still alive to share her story.

Wilma was questioned about her boys on The Mike Huckabee Show in 2012. She called Chuck the “defender,” his brother Aaron the “sunshine,” and the youngest Wieland, who perished in Vietnam, the “hero.”

Wilma had a difficult upbringing. She was had to work various jobs, including picking cotton, in addition to attending school. Norris, who experienced the Great Depression, recalled that time in her childhood by saying, “When they’d finished picking one field, they’d often move to another town to pick another field. Life in the Dust Bowl was anything from simple, particularly during the Great Depression’s first ten years.

Wilma first met Norris’ father when she turned sixteen. Unfortunately, he left her after they had three sons together, leaving her to raise her children by herself.

Mom has always been a model of tenacity and faith, according to Norris, who spoke to Christian Post.

Along with losing her two husbands, a stepson, two grandkids, and my younger brother Wieland in the Vietnam War, she also had to deal with these tragedies. She has experienced multiple bouts of cancer and has undergone close to 30 surgeries for a variety of conditions, yet she is still alive to share her story.

Norris attributes a large part of his life’s success to his mother.

Through thick and thin, my mother has prayed for me her entire life, he added. “I nearly passed away from problems at my birth. She was back at home praying for my prosperity and salvation when I was on the verge of losing my soul to Hollywood a few decades ago. She even prayed for me to meet a woman who would transform my life, and it was successful.

Chuck Norris is fortunate. Even though he has only been getting little roles since 2012, we are happy that his life is heading in the right path and we expect to see him in more significant projects.
