Prince William and Kate Middleton have a lot on their plates as Christmas approaches. The royal pair will be expected to accomplish some of the holiday-related activities on their own, even though they will surely receive support. Royal responsibilities are especially active throughout the holiday season. The pair recently travelled to the US for the first time since 2014 after departing the UK.

Her Majesty’s passing has been mourned by the royal family for months. Even when the official mourning period has finished and everyone has gone back to work, the family will undoubtedly continue to mourn and remember Queen Elizabeth.

Sadly, William and Kate Middleton just made another awful news.

The Prince and Princess of Wales announced on their official Twitter account that their close friend Mark Jenkins had tragically died in a plane tragedy. The incident, which occurred as Mark was flying above Kenya’s Tsavo National Park, also claimed Jenkins’ life. A Cessna Sky Wagon with fixed wings crashed on Thursday about 11 a.m.

Pilot Mark Jenkins and Prince William became friends during the latter’s gap year and have been close ever since.

“Mark Jenkins unfortunately died along with his son Peter while flying a patrol over Tsavo National Park. The speaker went on to say, “I’m thinking of Mark’s wife, family, and coworkers tonight as they mourn the death of a man we all revered and loved.”

An investigation into the accident has been started. Early reports said that they were trying to drive goats, cows, and other animals out of the park.

According to a statement, teams from the Kenya Wildlife Service and the David Sheldrake Wildlife Trust (DSWT) are on the scene to investigate the crash’s causes.

KWS sends a message to the families of the deceased expressing its condolences and profound sadness.

In a memorial published by the Frankfurt Zoological Society, Mark was remembered as a lifelong conservationist and accomplished bush pilot who devoted his professional life to protecting wildlife in some of East Africa’s most well-known national parks, according to Mirror.

“Mark was passionate, principled, and powerful; he never shied away from voicing his thoughts or defending his beliefs. Everywhere he went, he made a big impression and left a lasting impression.
