Prince Harry responded with three words when a staff member called him “mate.”

Along with the rest of the Royal Family, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been mourning the passing of Queen Elizabeth.

The two attended Her Majesty’s funeral last week, but the most recent rumors suggest that they have already left the UK and are travelling back to the US.

We can all agree that the Royal Family follows a set of rules, or at least hazard a guess. Not at all, in fact, fame, fortune, and wealth are not everything. Uncovering information about working with Harry is revealed in a recent book.

When Ed Perkins, the Prince’s former press secretary, texted Harry, it resulted in quite the incident. He addressed the Prince as “mate,” according to Perkins.

Harry answered quickly and plainly.

It has been three weeks since Queen Elizabeth passed away. The entire Royal Family and the country as a whole have expressed their sorrow over the death of the long-reigning monarch. However, the designated period of mourning has ended.

Senior family members will have to return to work to fulfil their royal obligations. Of course, Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer in that circumstance.

While we’re on the subject of regulations, there are clear guidelines for how to interact with the royal family, whether you do so frequently or not. Someone who worked closely with Harry once had a terrible accident.

According to Valentine Low’s book, when King Charles ascended to the throne, his staff addressed him as “Sir” as well as “Your Royal Highness.”

Ed Perkins, one of Harry’s assistants, nevertheless discovered the hard way that addressing Harry incorrectly or acting too casually can result in uncomfortable situations.
