TMZ broke the news of Leno’s accident first. The magazine claims that Leno was in the garage on Sunday when one of his vehicles unexpectedly caught fire. He was then transported to a burn facility, where he is reportedly still being treated for a stable condition.
Leno abruptly cancelled his appearance at a conference in Las Vegas on November 13 in the wake of the accident, saying, “His family was not able to provide us with very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from travelling.” “All we know is he is alive, so tonight our prayers are with him and his family,” someone said.
Many fans who heard that their favorite host was involved in an emergency situation made the assumption that it had something to do with his high cholesterol, a condition he has been dealing with for some time.
