Clint Eastwood mourns the loss of his longtime mistress, with whom he had a secret relationship for 14 years.
Clint Eastwood is reportedly mourning the untimely loss of Roxanne Turin, his longtime mistress, who died in late June.
Tunis, who dated Eastwood for nearly 20 years, passed away on June 23 at the age of 93.
“My mum passed away after a brief illness,” said Tunis’s daughter Kimber, 59, who she had with Eastwood, in a statement to RadarOnline on August 7.
Kimber also revealed that her 93-year-old Oscar-winning father had expressed his sorrow and conveyed his sympathies to her and their grandchild. And she continued, “He is just as depressed as I am.”
A close friend of Eastwood’s claimed that Tunis was one of his major loves and that their union lasted “until the end.”
According to reports, the ‘Unforgiven’ star is devastated by the loss, both for himself and for his daughter Kimber.
The Western actor began dating Tunis in 1964 while still married to his first wife, Maggie Johnson. Johnson and I split in 1984 after 34 years of marriage. Kyle and Allison were born during that time.
According to RadarOnline, Eastwood and Tunis met for the first time in 1959 while working on the television show “Rawhide,” and their romance did take place at the same time as Eastwood’s marriage to Johnson.
Tunis featured in Eastwood’s action comedy “Every Which Way but loose” from 1978 while they were allegedly dating for 14 years.
In 1964, a storm broke out when Kimber’s birth certificate revealed Clint’s real name: Clinton Eastwood Jr.
According to a source who spoke to RadarOnline, Roxanne “worshipped the ground [Clint] walked on,” adding that she wasn’t overly worried with his fame or wealth.
The Daily Mail claims that Tunis pursued her dreams in Los Angeles in her late 20s after discovering a passion for dancing and performing at a young age. She was also very interested in meditation, veganism, and leading a healthy lifestyle.
Kimber talked about her mother’s many different interests, which included travelling, writing, painting, and drawing. Tunis was remembered as a devoted Christian, a devoted family member, and a devoted friend.
Tunis made a number of movie cameos over his acting career, including “Take Her,” “She’s Mine,” “Blue City,” “Breezy,” and “Hang ‘Em High,” which also starred Clint Eastwood.
