Shaquille O’Neal raises questions with a concerning hospital photo while receiving well wishes from his followers
When Shaquille O’Neal shared a picture of himself from a hospital bed, his followers became worried.
The seven-foot-one-inch native of Newark, who is a Hall of Famer and has four NBA championships to his name, was sometimes seen plugged into equipment. Naturally, this led many people to worry what was wrong. O’Neal captioned the image with, “I’m constantly watching @TurnerSportsEJ and @Candace_Parker miss y’all,” and the comments soon began to come in.
O’Neal then made the decision to go public with the true cause of his hospitalization, but he did so in his own unique style by making fun of it by saying he was undergoing “Brazilian butt lift” treatment, which made people laugh.
“To all the interested parties. In the beginning, let me just say thank you,” he said in his March 20 Instagram post. Finally, I’m fine. Just had to take care of some BBL, or #hipreplacement, work, but no need to worry, I’m OK.
As was to be expected, this made a lot of people laugh. One of his followers wrote, “Lol Sending get well wishes for a speedy & healthy recovery.” In the meantime, someone called the NBA player “Cheekquille O’Neal.”
After being confronted about his appearance by a close friend, O’Neal was able to reduce a large amount of weight.
He is regarded as one of the best athletes of all time due to his outstanding career.
