Richard Gere is excited to travel to Spain and experience “living in another culture.”
In order to explore new things, Richard Gere and his family are relocating overseas.
Gere told Fox News Digital, “It’s time for my wife to be around her family, friends, and culture.” Additionally, it benefits our children. Living in a another culture—not just visiting—is fantastic, in my opinion.
Alejandra Silva, an activist who was born and reared in Spain and met the actor years before they started dating, is Gere’s wife of five years.
In 2015, Silva told Hola!, “The instant we laid eyes on one another, our karma was drawn to each other. The issues vanish when there is such a powerful karmic energy, and I’m not discounting the fact that we are not the same age or what it’s like to be with a Hollywood star.”
The pair has a son, Homer, from Gere’s second marriage in addition to two children, Alexander and James.
The “Pretty Woman” star has spent the last 50 years or so living in New York City, where he and his family have primarily resided.
The 75-year-old remarked, “I’ll miss my family and my friends mostly,” However, since I was probably 21, I have resided in New York or the New York region. Thus, it has been a few years. And you’re born in New York. However, I also adore Spain. I adore Madrid.
The espionage thriller, which is based on the French drama “Le Bureau des Legendes,” stars Michael Fassbender as a secret CIA operative who is told to leave his undercover existence and return to London Station. His job, identity, and mission are all at stake, along with his heart, when the love of his life reappears and their relationship rekindles. Bosko, Fassbender’s employer and a sort of father figure, and Gere, the CIA’s London Station chief.
“This is not what I was searching for. “Apparently, they were trying to find me,” Gere added.
“I think it’s great to be living, not just visiting, however living in another culture.”— Richard Gere
“It turns out I was unaware of this, but I found out recently they actually were thinking of me when they wrote this thing & were trying to put it together.”
Additionally, the first season served as a “date show” for Gere and his spouse. “So when this came by, I thought, well, let’s have a look at that script.”
The fact that Gere and his family spent some time in Madrid before relocating permanently has made it easier to work on the show, which is filmed on location in London.
“I adore London, and it’s quite simple. In addition to my early career, I have many pals there. I was performing in plays and musicals with the Young Vic Theatre and the West End. As a result, I have extensive knowledge of the United Kingdom. Therefore, I’m glad to be there as well.”
Recently, Gere’s passion for “The Agency” did cause some minor controversy.
“What did you just [do]?” Guthrie reprimanded Gere while she tried to hide his middle finger behind her pile of papers.
“I apologise. “I didn’t realise I was on camera,” Gere stated, referring to the recently concluded clip, “but that’s what I did in the piece.”

“It was just kind of silly because they were showing a clip that the button of the clip was that [gesture],” he said. Additionally, they turned [it] off. The clip doesn’t make sense, I said. Furthermore, I had no idea what I was doing.
