Big Ed’s brief love relationship ends.
One week after proposing at a restaurant, Big Ed Brown, one of the stars of TLC’s hit program “90 Day Fiancé,” revealed that he and Porscha Raemond were calling it quits on their engagement. The 59-year-old reality star said on Instagram that he had given it a lot of consideration and realized that making the choice too hastily was a mistake. Even after their breakup, he continued to show Porscha his love and respect.
In a follow-up film, Big Ed stated that he was not interested in his hasty approach and that making such a commitment was premature. He described the relationship as a “whirlwind moment” and thanked his supporters for their steadfast support along the journey.
Their courtship began only one week ago, when they made a paid appearance at a Florida sandwich restaurant. Porscha entered the store, embraced Big Ed, and even kissed and hugged him on the cheek.
He invited her to hang together the next night since they clicked immediately away. He had no clue that that evening, with the assistance of a pal and a makeshift engagement ring fabricated from a paperclip by the restaurant manager, he would propose to her.
The idea, which was recorded on video and featured on TMZ, elicited mixed reactions. Big Ed assured everyone that it was genuine, despite some viewers believing it was forced and staged. He called Porscha his ideal girl and claimed it was love at first sight when they met.
Big Ed’s appearances on multiple seasons of the television show “90 Day Fiancé” helped him gain popularity. However, this is not his first romantic connection. He has four engagements under his belt, two of which appear in the show. He was married to Sandra Heckman before becoming well-known, but their 1992 divorce was the result of infidelity. Thirty years later, he made his television debut on “90 Day Fiancé.”
