He received two Emmy nominations for his portrayal of the obnoxious talk show host “Buffalo” Bill in the 1983 television series Buffalo Bill. Coleman’s remarkable acting abilities were recognized with multiple awards, including an Emmy for his performance in 1987’s Sworn to Silence and a Golden Globe for The Slap Maxwell Story in 1988.
