‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston breaks down in tears discussing the hit program following Matthew Perry’s death.

Quinta Brunson of ‘Abbott Elementary’ interviewed Jennifer Aniston and asked about the 30th anniversary of ‘Friends’ sans Matthew Perry.

Jennifer Aniston became emotional when discussing the forthcoming 30th anniversary of “Friends” in the aftermath of Matthew Perry’s death.

The 55-year-old actress burst into tears when Quinta Brunson asked about the 1990s sitcom for Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series. The “Abbott Elementary” star asked Aniston what it’s like to watch the program 30 years later, without Perry, who played Chandler Bing.

“Oh God, don’t make me cry!” Aniston said.

“I won’t, we’re not going to make each other cry,” Brunson shot back.

You’re sobbing already, though,” she continued. Would you like a moment? We don’t need to discuss it.”

“Sorry, I just started thinking about.” Aniston remarked, alluded to what appeared to be Perry’s demise. She said, “Its happy tears,” and then, “Okay, we’re back!”

Perry passed away on October 28 at his California home after what seemed to be a drowning, according to law enforcement sources previously disclosed to Fox News Digital. 54 was his age.

The County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner concluded his autopsy on October 29 and noted that the cause of death was “deferred,” pending findings from the toxicology test.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later released Perry’s autopsy report. The actor died as a result of “acute ketamine effects,” as well as “coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects.”

“There were small amounts of ketamine detected in the stomach contents,” the postmortem report stated. “The exact method of intake in Mr. Perry’s case is unknown.”

According to the autopsy report, Perry’s home also contained “prescription medications and loose pills.” “Alcohol, methamphetamine, cocaine, PCP, heroine, fentanyl were all not found negative.”

Aniston talked about the day “Friends” debuted on the “Actors on Actors” panel.

“It’s quite odd to even think that it’s 30 years old, as it actually just was – I remember the day that it was gonna launch, on television, on NBC,” said Aniston.

“While Matthew Perry and I were out to lunch, we learned that Lisa was getting her hair colored. We hurried into the hair shop, and as I crept up, I saw that she was washing her hair in the sink. I grabbed the nozzle from the man who was meant to be doing it, and I immediately began. It was regrettable because it undoubtedly soared out of control.”

“But the joy that we had, and it feels like yesterday,” she stated. “The fact that we’ve had this long, amazing life, and it still means a lot to people is one of the greatest blessings I think all … 6 of us ever – we never could have imagined.”Friends cast eats ice cream

“Friends” included Aniston and Perry in addition to Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc. During the first season of the show’s filming, the ages of the cast members were all between 25 and 31.

Over the years, the group has remained close, particularly in the year after Perry’s passing.

“We both see each other,” Ansiton said to Brunson. “Last night, I spent about an hour on the phone with Courteney Cox, Lisa, and the boys, and we had a very great conversation-It will always be a family.”
