Queen Camilla’s genuine anxiety that King Charles would invite Prince Harry and his wife Meghan to Balmoral this summer became public.

There is a lot on King Charles and Queen Camilla’s schedule. Rather of the royal family having a summer vacation, the summer months are filled with many traditions. Kate Middleton’s absence has opened the door for other members of the royal family to step in. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, both of them, will not be attending any royal events this summer.

The royal family’s relationship with the separated couple has reached an all-time low. According to sources, King Charles did everything possible to repair his son’s relationship, but his efforts were met with disdain.

As they do every summer, the royal family is expected to spend time together at Balmoral during their few weeks off. The Scottish castle, where Queen Elizabeth II passed away in 2022, will be open to the public for the first time this year.

Rumor has it that King Charles, in a seemingly last-ditch effort to unite them all, has invited his son, daughter-in-law, and their two children to Balmoral. However, it’s reported that Queen Camilla is opposed to it because she fears a visit from the Sussexes.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been a source of conflict for the royal family for many years. Due to the multiple accusations and revelations made by Prince William, Kate Middleton, King Charles, and Queen Camilla, they are the only ones on the other side of the pond. Though none of the royal family, except for King Charles, appears eager to engage with them, there are whispers that it may go both ways.

According to royal expert Tom Quinn, Queen Camilla dislikes the thought of them visiting and is afraid that her husband may extend an invitation.

Quinn told The Mirror that Harry and Meghan will receive the traditional invitation from King Charles to spend some time at Balmoral during the summer, but he will do so with confidence that they will decline and find an excuse. “While relaxing on the 50,000-acre estate might be the perfect way to move on from the past, Camilla will be keeping an eye out for anything that could compromise her husband’s ability to continue his cancer recovery.”

Quinn said that even though Harry showed genuine concern for Kate, he will not accept the offer since he cannot meet Kate without first seeing his brother.
