Rick Harrison breaks quiet following his son’s unexpected death aged 39, confirming the awful reality.

Following the abrupt and tragic death of Rick Harrison’s son, Adam, the Pawn Shop star breaks his silence and posts a moving tribute on Instagram.

Adam, 39, died of an overdose in Las Vegas on Friday, leaving his family completely distraught and stunned.

“You’ll always be in my heart!” Rick captioned a photo of himself smiling with Adam at a pub, “I love you Adam. 💔.”

Previously, a family representative, Laura Herlovich, confirmed Adam’s death to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“Our family is devastated by Adam’s loss. We ask for privacy as we mourn his passing,” the message stated.

Rick disclosed to Fox News Digital the exact cause of Adam’s death, blaming it on fentanyl.

“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” the reality TV personality claimed. “The fentanyl epidemic in this country needs to be addressed more severely. It appears that it is simply flowing across borders with no action taken to prevent it. “We must do better.”

Fans and several of Rick’s celebrity friends quickly expressed their condolences.

“I’m so sorry, man,” wrote Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.

Adam’s brother, Corey Harrison, also paid tribute to his late sibling on Instagram, posting an old baby photo of the two of them in the bathtub.

“Wax wtf, I will always love you, bubba,” he captioned the photo.

Adam was Rick Harrison’s second kid from his first marriage with Kim Harrison. Rick later married his second wife, with whom he has son Jake.

While Rick and Corey ran the Gold & Silver Pawn and appeared on the show, Adam was less involved, however it has been alleged that he worked with his father.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, overdose deaths, including those involving synthetic opioids, increased by 56.6% between January 2020 and 2021.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, fentanyl is a Schedule II banned narcotic “that is similar to morphine but about 100 times more potent.” Depending on a person’s constitution, even two milligrams, or less than a grain of salt, can be fatal.

We send our thoughts and prayers to the Harrison family.

Rest in peace, Adam.
