Sally Field, 76, was dubbed ‘ugly’ after deciding to age naturally. However, she found delight in being a grandmother to five children and enjoying living in a home with a view of the ocean.

Sometimes keeping up with Hollywood glitz means using treatments and plastic surgery to age-defy. It’s no secret that many celebrities choose to have surgery in order to maintain their good looks, youth, and the chances that appearances bring.

Sally Field, an actress, is one of the few film industry professionals who is unwilling to adopt this trend.

It’s safe to say that Field has a career she can be proud of after appearing in films like Smokey and the Bandit, Norma Rae, Mrs Doubtfire, and Forrest Gump and winning numerous acting accolades, including two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Film Award nominations, three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two SAG Awards, and most recently the Life Achievement Award.

She accepts her natural beauty and yet maintains a lovely appearance at the age of 76. She embraced her naturally grey hair and wore a stunning black gown during her address for the SAG Achievement Award.

“I felt watchful, circumspect, and out of the limelight. On stage, however, I was never sure what I would say or do. I’d surprise myself, the actress declared. Although it’s great, I wasn’t looking for praise or attention.

Acting has always been about preserving those irreplaceable moments when I feel complete, whole, and occasionally dangerously alive, she concluded. It has never been easy to find a way there.

“They gave me the freedom to be vulnerable and revealed aspects of myself that I never would have known otherwise. I have worked my entire life. There hasn’t been a day when I haven’t been truly thrilled to identify as an actor, she maintained for almost 60 years.

She was questioned about impersonating an elderly, quirky woman named Doris Miller back in 2016.

I’m not ashamed to be an old woman; 70 is ancient. Because I earned the right to have them and I owned them, my years have given me strength. It’s okay, even if I loathe my neck and a lot of other stuff’, Field told NPR.

And despite the fact that ageism in Hollywood is a serious problem, Field chooses to be true to herself when it comes to the natural process of ageing. “Whenever I see a picture of myself on television, I think, “Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck.

Your face is falling, and your eyes are squinting. But then I run into some of the women (who have had plastic surgery) that I formerly thought were really gorgeous. Oh no, this is how I’m feeling. Do not do it! She once commented, “And that would seem disrespectful to who they are right now.

Field went undergone two divorces and two marriages. She wed Steven Craig in 1986, and the two of them had two boys. In 1975, the couple decided to divorce.

Following that, she dated Burt Reynolds before getting hitched to director Alan Greisman. Greisman and Field have a son together.

However, it wasn’t until she became a grandmother that she made the decision to devote all of her time to her job.

She accepted her new position with open arms and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren at her lovely beach property with views of the ocean.

We adore Sally Field.
