Apparently, Meghan ‘doesn’t want’ Archie and Lilibet to meet King Charles because she holds him responsible for their departure from the royal family.
The titles of Prince and Princess now belong to Harry and Meghan’s children Lilibet and Archie, whether the royals like it or not. Although they recently received these titles, they were already entitled to them once Queen Elizabeth passed away.
Following the publication of the Netflix documentary about the Sussexes, which included images and recordings of Lili and Archie, the little ones gained a lot of attention. Up until that point, their parents kept their children private and sought to keep them out of the public eye, which was one of the reasons they had previously broken off their relationship with British monarchy.
Not everyone agreed with the parents’ choice to accept their children’s birthright titles.
Angela Levin, a royal specialist, suggested that it would adversely affect the futures of Archie and Lilibet.
Little Lilibet won’t fully understand the weight her parents have placed on her small shoulders for a very long time, Levin told Sky News. She continued, saying that by conferring a princess title on their daughter, Harry and Meghan had “glued her to the British Royal Family,” the same institution they have long criticized.
Why in the world would you want your daughter to go through such suffering? Lilibet’s daily existence would be more difficult because she has the label of princess connected to her name, Angela Levin said.
The royal expert said, “Lilibet being the only student in the class who is a real princess could lead to jealously that could easily be avoided. Little girls definitely love being a princess at celebrations.
Some people think that Harry and Meghan might make money off of their kids’ titles.
Sarah Hewson remarked, “You wouldn’t be wrong if you looked at this and thought of the branding. When Archie was born, I remember clearly being told they wanted him to be Master Archie; now he is Prince, and Lilibet is Princess, Hewson continued. “When they said they wanted to distance themselves from the family, they wanted to have a private life, I remember vividly being told they wanted him to be Master Archie, now he is Prince, and Lilibet is Princess,” Hewson said.
Richard Eden, a palace insider and another royal authority, thinks Charles and Camilla are the targets of ‘revenge’ given the timing of the announcement of Lili and Archie’s royal titles.
“It certainly seem to me like Harry and Meghan are getting even. Over the past week, two significant developments have been witnessed. They characterized Frogmore Cottage as their lifelong home, and it was revealed this week that they are being evicted from that property.
The Sussexes’ relationship with the other members of the royal family is still tumultuous.
Many anticipate that the coronation will serve as a catalyst for them to attempt to patch things up, although it is yet unknown whether they will attend.
While Meghan and the children are expected to remain in California, it is said that Harry will be there to support his father.
Harry and Meghan were reportedly invited, but the names of their children weren’t on the invitation because they wouldn’t be old enough to attend. However, reports indicate that now that Lili and Archie have royal titles, Meghan feels that they have just as much of a right to be there as their cousins George, Charlotte, and Louis.
According to psychologist Eduardo Omeltech, “Meghan will probably be the one to decide that they will extend an olive branch.”
However, she currently feels that their grandfather is to blame for their having to leave the Royal Family and does not want the kids to meet him. She’ll likely make the decision swiftly and on the spur of the moment, but once she does, Harry will support her choices, he continued.
Prince Harry and Meghan have requested that Archie’s birthday be acknowledged because the coronation is anticipated to occur on his birthday.
According to a source who spoke to OK!, “The Sussexes want the family to recognize that Archie’s birthday falls on May 6, coronation day.”
The Sussexes have requested that the arrangements for the day include some sort of celebration or acknowledgment so that his fourth birthday won’t be forgotten amid the significance of the day.
In the event that they attend the celebration, Harry and Meghan have requested to be invited on the balcony following the coronation procession back to the Palace, according to the Mirror. They reportedly requested to stay at Frogmore Castle, where they had previously lived before King Charles ordered their eviction.
“Harry’s concerns over security, which will not be helped by his revelations regarding the number of Taliban insurgents he personally killed, may also be a factor as he has a case pending against the Home Office on this issue,” royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail.
