After unveiling the special room he constructed for her in his house, the grandson moves the 88-year-old grandmother to tears.
The luckiest people are those who were able to spend their childhoods close to their grandparents. Grandmas and grandpas are those exceptional people who will always go above and beyond to ensure their grandchildren’s happiness and wellbeing. However, when they get particularly elderly, we should be there for them and show them the same love and courtesy that they have shown us through the years.
Florida-based TikToker Matthew Stewart won over a tonne of fans when he shared a video of his grandma’s tender and emotional response to learning that he had created a special room in his new house particularly for her.
Bobbe, or GB, as Matthew nicknamed her, was 88 years old and couldn’t believe she’d get her own bedroom, living room and bathroom. Matthew becomes too moved when she says, “just to know someone wants me,” and breaks down in tears of happiness.
He recalled all the occasions when his grandmother had supported him through his most trying circumstances. He was happy to be able to thank her for all the affection she had shown him over the years.
Since the film was recorded in the middle of the pandemic and lockdown in October 2020, Matthew even converted a space in his new home into a hair salon so he could style GB’s hair. Matthew was aware that he missed giving her the hairstyle she had always loved. Even though he had no prior experience, he was nonetheless able to cut his grandma’s hair in the manner that she preferred.
She felt better after this enjoyable experience. She praised her new appearance and claimed that her grandchild had made her “beautimous.”
Over 1.3 million people have seen the charming saloon session video. Matthew received plaudits from everyone for treating his grandmother like a queen.
The response GB has when she discovers she will become a great-grandmother is shown in another of Matthew’s movies. She declared that she was more than willing to change diapers because she was so happy.
Unfortunately, shortly after this most recent video was uploaded online, GB was in an accident. She needed to go to treatment after falling, but she was unable to. In January 2022, GB passed away. The next month, Matthew and his family commemorated his adoring grandma’s 89th birthday. She was regretfully unable to meet her great-granddaughter.
Everyone’s lives were slightly improved by GB. She was a really unique mother, and her grandson knew how to show her appreciation for all the love he had received. Let Bobbe rest in peace.
