‘Money-obsessed’ According to experts, Meghan Markle desires a private aircraft on demand and believed that Prince Harry would be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
The desire to raise their children privately and lead a quiet life was one of the factors that led Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to resign from their royal responsibilities and depart Britain, most likely permanently. Having said that, many people thought it odd that the couple never really stopped sharing personal information with the public. Everything began with the now-famous Oprah interview in which the Sussexes charged the Firm’s members of racism and other forms of mistreatment.
The couple, who now live in sunny California, continued to give interviews ever since. They made deals with Spotify and secured a five-year, $100 million production contract with Netflix, which just recently released their documentary.
Harry released his eagerly awaited all-tell book Spare in January of this year, and on its debut in the UK, the US, and Canada, it sold an astounding 1.4 million copies. In 2023, Spare, which has been published in 16 different languages, is anticipated to sell the most copies.
Director of Trans world Penguin Random House Larry Finlay said, “We always knew this book would fly, but it is exceedingly even our most bullish predictions.
We are aware of no novels featuring the other Harry (Potter) that have sold more copies in their first day.
Spare caused Meghan and Harry’s reputation among the British people to decline to 24 percent from 80 percent a decade ago, along with their Netflix documentary series and the amount of media interviews they conducted.
Because of the memoir’s popularity, sources claim that Random House will urge Meghan Markle to publish her own autobiography.
According to a source who spoke with Express UK, “nobody anticipated sales figures like the ones we are seeing” and that the numbers have “taken everyone by surprise.”
“Harry could easily surpass the Obamas’ combined book sales, who are currently the joint best-selling authors for the business. The pressure is on to publish Meghan’s account of what happened, both with the Royal Family and her own family in America, as quickly as possible, ideally early next year to boost sales when Spare demand declines.
They believe Meghan’s tale in her own words can sell even more, particularly in the US, after seeing Harry’s sales, the insider claimed.
Harry and Meghan have been compelled to work their way to financial security and the ability to maintain their opulent lifestyle because they were financially cut off when Harry left his royal family. They appear to be doing well with the transactions they made, Meghan’s estimated net worth of $60 million, and the $14 million princess Diana left Harry.
Meghan Markle, however, is reportedly unhappy because “she had thought Harry would be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and she is now having to make up for it,” according to royal experts. The Duchess is referred to as “money-obsessed” by Tom Bower, the author of Revengee: Meghan, Harry, and the Battle Between the Windsors.
Prince Harry’s lack of wealth “was her big surprise and disappointment,” Bower told the Express. She desires to travel in commanding private planes and large Cadillacs. She needs to scrounge for those kinds of items right now.
Daniela Elser, another royal scholar, agrees with Bower. “Does anyone believe Spotify might have paid out the full $33 million their contract is said to be worth just for Meghan’s lacklustre Archetypes,” she concluded in a piece for the New Zealand Herald. (It might have debuted with much fanfare, but subsequent episodes failed to set the podcasting charts on fire).
The problem, according to Elser, is not just how much money they are making, but also how paltry it is in comparison to what their new closest acquaintances are all earning.
