The prince asserts that while Lilibet was in her early stages of labor, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were dancing and eating
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made enormous efforts to provide their son Archie and daughter Lilibet a tranquil upbringing.
Archie spent his early years in the UK, whilst Lilibet was born in Santa Barbara, near to the Sussexes’ home in Montecito.
Prior to the publication of the Netflix documentary series in December, fans of the royal family didn’t get to see much of Archie and Lilibet. However, Harry and Meghan decided to have guests after the show aired.
The birth of Archie was a significant occasion for the couple, especially for Harry, who acknowledged that he ate chicken and all of his wife’s laughing gas. In his book Spare, The Prince also discussed Lilibet’s birth, claiming that he thought he had “delivered” her on his own. He added that he asked his beloved wife a very tearful question immediately after Lilibet was born.
On June 4, 2021, it was announced that Lilibet, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, had been born.
The birth of Lilibet was extremely covert for a royal baby, and admirers of the royal family in England were given very little information about it. Compared to the birth of her brother Archie, which had taken place earlier, there was a sharp difference.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to make Lilibet’s birth as private as possible, unlike with Archie’s birth. They released a quick statement after she was born to share the happy news.
Lili was born on Friday, June 4, at 11:40 a.m. in the capable hands of the medical staff and personnel of Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. “Mother and child are both healthy and doing well at home,” stated the statement.
“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, whose family moniker is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was given in honour of her cherished late grandmother, The Princess of Wales. The Duke and Duchess appreciate your thoughtful words and prayers as they cherish this special time spent together as a family.
It wasn’t until the Netflix documentary in December that viewers got to see more of Archie and Lilibet. In his most recent book, Harry also went into more detail about the day their cherished daughter was born.
In Spare, Prince Harry claimed that the couple consumed burgers and fajitas while pacing around their hospital room during the early stages of labor.
Prince Harry got to work and, with the assistance of a medical professional, delivered Lilibet on his own when the doctor told them their daughter would be born in just a few minutes. He claimed that he wanted to be the infant’s initial encounter with the outside world.
Prince Harry stated in Spare, “I cradled her for a brief moment, trying to smile at her, to see her, but honestly I couldn’t see anything. I questioned whether she was scared.
