Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have come under fire for posing for a portrait at Buckingham Palace without asking the Queen’s permission

There are two trailers for the new Netflix documentary series about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Sussexes have already received a lot of unfavorable press after the first trailer for the series was unveiled while Prince William and Kate were in the country.

Saying that the trailers have generated controversy is sufficient, not only because of the occasion, but also due to the subject.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle included numerous never-before-seen or infrequently-seen images in it, but one in particular has gained widespread notice.

The couple is captured in the image at Buckingham Palace. According to The Telegraph, the shot was taken without first obtaining the most essential person’s permission.

On December 1, the first trailer for the upcoming Prince Harry and Meghan Markle documentary series on Netflix released.

Additionally, when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are shown sitting in a car together, Meghan is heard saying: “I was terrified, I did not want history to repeat itself.” Some people say that’s a direct reference to Princess Diana.

Despite the diverse responses to the two trailers, violating royal protocol is currently being discussed in relation to a specific image. Respect for the reigning monarch is always appropriate, even though the Sussexes are no longer members of the Royal Family and are consequently exempt from various laws and regulations.

One of the shots from the first trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix series shows the couple walking toward a door at Buckingham Palace while holding hands. It was apparently taken at the palace in March 2020, while the Queen was still alive.

Inside the apartments of the palace, it is “strictly forbidden,” according to restrictions established by the Royal Collection Trust. Additionally, permission from His or Her Majesty is required before taking any photos or recordings inside Buckingham Palace with the intention of selling them.

According to a person who spoke to the media, the image was a “real invasion” of the Queen’s privacy. Even so, it was understood that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had no legal knowledge. Furthermore, no request to have their photographer leave the palace grounds had been made at the time.

The Daily Mirror reports that some individuals found the two’s social media posts offensive.

Imagine screaming about privacy invasions while daring to bring your own camera to this location of all places. According to one person, there are two sick people.

It’s interesting how they constantly believe it’s acceptable to breach another person’s privacy and then whine about being harassed over the same issue, said one commenter.

“Aah! But from what I can remember, they wanted to film in their own homes. Hypocrites,” a third remarked.
