Gwen Stefani felt Blake Shelton was faking about his accent

The Voice’s brand-new season will be the first in which Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will return together as a married couple. Stefani delightfully revealed something about her famous husband that she initially believed to be false during the show that aired on Monday night (Sept 26).

Stefani was questioned by Camila Cabello, a new coach on the program, on whether Shelton’s accent has rubbed off on her. The “The Sweet Escape” superstar then acknowledged that she had initially been unaware that her now-husband, an Oklahoma native, actually possessed a southern accent. In her seat between blind auditions, Stefani, who also imitated her husband’s accent, said: “I used to be like. When are you going to stop talking like that? That’s really bogus! Then, it seemed to be his actual voice. I adapted to it somewhat.

During her first season on The Voice, Cabello acknowledged she fears she might pick up some of the southern accent and that she is scared about it.

When competing for the same competitors later on in the program, Gwen Stefani claimed that she is essentially an Okay now (and asked whether she can say that .Blake Shelton gave her the green light).

The Voice’s most recent season debuted on Monday, Sept 19. Coaches Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend are back, along with Cabello. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani married in July 2021, but in a recent promotional video, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani comically sparred, demonstrating that the honeymoon is over for the wildly popular competition show. Cabello questioned the power couple about if they had agreed to refrain from fighting on the show. Stefani, who triumphed in Season 19, retorted, “We are going to fight,” in response to Blake Shelton’s “No.”

On NBC, The Voice airs at 10 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. The following day, each episode is accessible on Peacock.
